O' Christmas tree, O' Christmas tree!

With Christmas literally days away and with no sightings of a live Christmas tree here on the ole blog,  I bet you all were wondering if I actually got a fresh green tree this year.   Well the answer is yes!  Josh and I have had our fresh Christmas tree up since right after Thanksgiving!  So yes, I have been a VERY negligent blogger as I have not blogged one single picture of our tree!  

So without further ado, here are a few images of our tree.

So for the very observant out there, yes that is a Yoda tree topper on the top of our tree.   I gave that to Josh three years ago under the condition it would NEVER grace the top of my Christmas tree.   Come Christmas it has always sat on his desk, well this year our regular topper was just not working and it never made it onto the tree.  Until last week our tree sat topless, when I finally gave in to Josh and let him put Yoda on the top.  I know, that was EXTREMELY nice of me!  But 'tis the season of giving, so I selflessly let him put that weird little guy on top.  I am sure I am on Santa's nice list just for that!

Here is one of my all time favorite Christmas ornaments!  I DIY'D this Anthropologie knock off last year!  You can read all about that here!

I must say this years tree is one of my favorite trees we've had, just something about it.....I just love it!

So there you are,  now you know for sure that I actually did put a real tree up!  I still have some wrapping and such to do, but all in all I'm all ready and super excited for the BIG day!

The perfect Christmas morning outfit!

So you've decked your halls, done your Christmas shopping, wrapped everything and tucked it under under the tree.   But have you thought about what you'll be sporting in all those early morning Christmas photos?!?

Since I don't want pictures of me in my paint covered sweats around for all eternity,  I really needed to find something cute and festive to wear!

I already own both nail polish colors, so either one I'll be sporting Christmas day.   Both are gorgeous!!

I must say the red polka dot pj's are nice and cozy as well!  I couldn't wait till Christmas Eve to wear them, so  I'm wearing them right now!
