This got me popping!

I have a dirty little secret, yes it's time for this blonde to make a confession.....I'm a popcorn whore.  Yup I said it!  I eat popcorn ALL THE TIME!  I mean it's sooooo yummy!!  AND can be low calorie when done right!  I usually get the 97 % fat free bags from any number of stores, and I'm not too particular about the brand either.  However,  for some reason I can never get them to pop right!  They either burn or don't completely pop!  This is very frustrating to this blonde popcorn lover! 

 So I was browsing on amazon the other day and found this.....

I'm still figuring this whole link party thing out, but I love that I've gotten soooo many nice comments from all of you about being excited about it!  So just bear with me as I tweak a few things...like the actually day and time when it starts.....do you all think Friday is a good day?  That's what I'm leaning towards!

The Stockings were hung.....

Twas two weeks before Christmas, and all through the house apartment

In hopes that ST. Nicholas soon would be there.

Josh and I went Christmas shopping in Richmond last week, and found some GREAT new Christmas stockings!  I've been looking and looking for the longest time, trying to find something classic, pretty and not trend specific!  I change my mind TOO much, and really wanted to find something that would last through years of me switching my decor styles!  I like the idea of keeping Christmas things for years and developing Holiday memories with them and not just switching things out as the trends change!  I know that doesn't make a lot of sense as I blog about different decor changes all the time, but there is something about Christmas that just makes me want to hold on to things and cherish them for years to come.

We sadly don't have a chimney to hang our stockings by, so it's always interesting to find some place fun to hang them!  Here's what I did with my new white Christmas stockings!

Above my fabulous new Christmas stockings are a few of my favorite Christmas goodies!

The plan is to eventually get them monogrammed, but I just couldn't decide on fonts or colors right now....so maybe I'll get them done next year.

So how about you, are you all still putting out bits of your Holiday decor?  I feel like mine doesn't ever really get done until the BIG day!  I just keep adding and rearranging things!  It's like a sickness, I just can't stop!

White Christmas!

Something got in me this year and I just HAD to have a white Christmas tree.  However, there was NO WAY I was giving up getting my live tree to get a white one!  So what's a girl who lives in a 600 sq foot apartment to do?!?  Welllllll.........get a tabletop tree and put it in the same room as the real tree of course!!

So that's exactly what I did!

I filled the tree with my new favorite Holiday color combination!  Peacock!

I couldn't quite find a tree skirt I liked so I swirl some leftover fabric (from my bench makeover) around the base.  It's the perfect modern touch!

I'm sooooooo happy I got my White tree!  It just makes me smile every time I look at it!

Have any of you all bought an unusual colored Christmas tree??   I've also seen quite few pink ones I've liked this year!

Holiday Party Favorites!!

A fabulous new gift store, just in time for Christmas!

Being that I don't tend to care for things that are sold in generic, one -on-every-corner- stores;

I'm always on the lookout for NEW and interesting places to shop.    So when I read an article last month about a new store opening in New York called C Wonder I got super excited!   You see, C Wonder is a store that focuses on affordable luxury.  What could be any better than that!  It's also being opened by Tory Burch's ex husband, so everything seems to have the Tory Burch feel to it.  

  I have been following along on their Facebook page for weeks, just waiting for them to open up their e-commerce site.  Well the time has finally come, it's open!!!!   And let me tell you,  EVERYTHING is fabulous!!

That is just a bit of the fabulousness that they carry!  I mean, were talking shoes, clothing, jewelry and  home decor!   I just wish I hadn't finished so much of my Christmas shopping already!  I would have been all over this stuff for gifts!  Oh well, I guess I'll just have to so some shopping for me!  I'm especially loving those green ikat mugs!  LOVE!!!
