Playing with my new toy!

My new sewing machine showed up the other day and I think I may be in love.  This babe is soooooooo much easier to use than the ancient beast I had been sewing with!  It practically sews by itself!  Anyway, I pulled it out and gave my new toy a spin today.  I made these lovely navy and coral pillows out of stain resistant indoor/outdoor fabric, perfect for everyday use!  I think the client is going to love them!

  7. These are lovely!

I've got sewing machine fever. My antique singer finally sewed its last stiches a while back... it was a little heart breaking, like loosing a friend! Can you love a sewing machine? I think so!

Happy new year!! glad to have found your blog~

  9. very nice! I also have to say that the navy and white is fantastic! Last year I got a new sewing machine for Christmas after attempting to use one my husbands GRANDMOTHER used when she was a young mother. Nice idea but didn't really work that well. I'm SO much happier now with my beauty and I'm churning out loads of projects now instead of constantly fiddling with an ill-working machine!
