Something got in me this year and I just HAD to have a white Christmas tree. However, there was NO WAY I was giving up getting my live tree to get a white one! So what's a girl who lives in a 600 sq foot apartment to do?!? Welllllll.........get a tabletop tree and put it in the same room as the real tree of course!!
So that's exactly what I did!
I filled the tree with my new favorite Holiday color combination! Peacock!
I couldn't quite find a tree skirt I liked so I swirl some leftover fabric (from my bench makeover) around the base. It's the perfect modern touch!
I'm sooooooo happy I got my White tree! It just makes me smile every time I look at it!
Have any of you all bought an unusual colored Christmas tree?? I've also seen quite few pink ones I've liked this year!
Don't forget to come join my NEW LINK PARTY!! I'll be hosting one each week, so come back often and link up your new projects!!
Beautiful job Ashley! I love the simplicity of the limited color palette.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite color scheme this Christmas! Love the peacock!
ReplyDeleteI really like the peacock color scheme. The white tree really makes everything pop more than a traditional tree would. How do your two trees look together in the same room?
ReplyDeleteoh how beautiful, i really wanted a white tree but had to go with my green tree too, might just have to go and get a small little white tree too x
ReplyDeleteI'm dying for a white tree this year too! I may settle for the pink feather "Easter Tree" I already have, because my husband is NOT in the mood for another tree! Hah!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful tree. I love the blues and greens together.
ReplyDeleteI love your white tree! I've always wanted one - the small version is just perfect :)
ReplyDeleteLovely tree!! We've done a balck one this year with gold and red x
ReplyDeleteLove the peacock topper! I am glad you got your white tree - every girl should get what she wants at Christmas time!!
ReplyDeleteOf course I love your tree and the colors. winks, jen
ReplyDeleteI *heart* your white tree, Ashley! I want one, too!!! Linking from Mod Vintage Life.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tree. I love white trees. In fact bought one last year but ended up using it at our local Senior Center in a tree decorating contest. I did the same color combination but also added purple with it.

I bought a white tree this year too. Great minds think alike. I am totally crushing on those blue and green ornaments though. I saw an episode of Secrets From a Stylist on HGTV today where she did a blue, teal and green room. I have never been a blue girl but I am all over this blue and green theme. :) Thanks so much for sharing your creativity on BeColorful's Motivated Monday.

Hi Ashley, what a delightful Christmas tree. I understand where you are coming from. This year I just had to decorate my tree in silver, and turquoise and aqua shades. I disposed of all my old traditional oraments and went crazy in the Dollar Store. Unbelieveably gorgeous decorations to be found there. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. Please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris

What a stunning tree... I love that you've still got your real tree as well! Kudos to you
ReplyDeleteIt's stunning! I have a white tree! It's fun and versatile and SO different! Mine's a little crazier though cuz it's our "kids" tree...well, it's our only tree, cuz I had to get rid out our 12 foot tree when we moved to a house with 9' ceilings...THAT was a sad day...
ReplyDeleteLove your tree...makes me want to change the 12 Days of Christmas to "and a peacock in a sparkly white tree..."
Gwen
The white tree is fabulous Ashley... especially with the lime green and blue decorations.
